These fields are left untouched rather than causing an error, so the rest of the form still fills in normally. If a field you expect to see is missing from the list, it's worth opening the original PDF in a dedicated viewer to confirm it was built as a genuine fillable field and not just text made to look like one.
Filling out a long form is often easiest in a single sitting, since your answers live only in the browser tab until you download the result — closing the tab partway through means starting over.
